Historical Chicken, Alaska - The old townsite
of Chicken is on the Alaska Register of Historical Places and can be seen on a walking
tour through "The Goldpanner" at mile 66.8 on Taylor Highway.
Chicken, Alaska is located on the Taylor Highway between Tok and the Alaska-Yukon
border west of Dawson City, is a colourful village which has a year-round population of
only about a dozen.
